Abstract

The aim of this project was to recycle granite scraps for producing glass-ceramic materials in combination with harmful jarosite wastes, originated from the zinc metallurgy. The investigation has been conducted at laboratory scale. Tests of fusion demonstrate the technical feasibility of the treatment. At the light of the results obtained a flow-sheet was realised and an economical evaluation of the process has been carried out.
