The article analyzes the influence of Vichian philosophy in some important phases of Carlo Cattaneo's thought. In particular, the author focuses on a few peculiar aspects of Vichian philosophy (such as, for example, the principle of verum-factum), in order to highlight similarities and differences in the critical approach of the two authors.
