A Reference Architecture is a reference model that maps functionality onto software elements that implement them. It is not based on a specific technology, nor is a specification that prescribes, in a complete, precise, verifiable manner, the requirements, design, behaviour, and characteristics of a System. This paper presents a Reference Architecture for Digital Library Systems. The aim of this model is to identify the necessary components of a Digital Library architecture and their dependencies for providing an agreed framework to be used in the implementation of these systems.

Abstract
A Reference Architecture is a reference model that maps functionality onto software elements that implement them. It is not based on a specific technology, nor is a specification that prescribes, in a complete, precise, verifiable manner, the requirements, design, behaviour, and characteristics of a System. This paper presents a Reference Architecture for Digital Library Systems. The aim of this model is to identify the necessary components of a Digital Library architecture and their dependencies for providing an agreed framework to be used in the implementation of these systems.File in questo prodotto:
