Requirements on Web NDT database

This document is focused on the definition of the main requirements for a NDT Web-Database (sub-Task 2.1.1), based on the software INSIDE NDT (developed by Alenia). However, due to the strict correlation of the themes here faced up some items in WP1 and WP3, the document intends also give a contribution for the assessment of the Web-related requirements for all the Tasks of the Project, defining a possible general architecture for all the web-based operations. Main topics of this document are: Web-Database architecture, interfacing modalities, methods and procedures for the information extraction, user typologies, operational and functional data flows and their management techniques, authentication and access security protocols. A very close interaction and even integration of Web-Database with Web-Portal of the whole NDT data management system has been outlined.
