This deliverable addresses methodologies and tools for conformance testing of an implementation against an application profile in the e-Learning domain. Following the detailed survey of the state of the art in this area in Deliverable D03, here we consider more in depth both the modelling aspects with regard to testability concerns, and the applicable techniques. We deal and experiment with both XML-based and UML-based application profiles. For the former an established technology exist, and we show how this should be adapted to out purposes. For the latter (to be further explored in TELCERT Phase 2), the field has yet to be configured. We develop as a working example a comprehensive UML definition of an Application Profile. For data conformance, the same validation tools used for XML-based conformance can then be employed. With regard to behavior, which could be modelled by UML State Machines or Sequence Diagrams, dynamic testing techniques have been investigated.

Abstract
With regard to behavior, which could be modelled by UML State Machines or Sequence Diagrams, dynamic testing techniques have been investigated.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
