Abstract
The aim of the work presented hereby is to obtain silicon nitride by slip casting in gypsum moulds. The current work focuses on the study of the stability and rheological behaviour of a water-based silicon nitride suspension. Various dispersing agents are tested with respect to the relative optimal solid loading, to the green and sintered density and to microstructure. Gypsum moulds are used for the casting operations. Sintering is conducted in air or under flowing nitrogenFile in questo prodotto:
