The WICHMO activity, performed as part of the EC FP6 IST project SATNEX, focused on wireless channel modelling issues. The scenario addressed consists of a hybrid network comprising a GEO satellite link and a wireless terrestrial link (Wi-Fi). As part of this activity, a testbed was developed in order to perform two main experiments: Indoor WiFi on Hybrid Network; and Outdoor Model for WiFi Packet Loss.
