Chapter 3 introduces the metadata ingestion architecture in the different phases of ingestion, cleaning, editing and publishing, highlighting which parts have been refined or extended in EFG1914. Finally, Section 4 will then define the metadata schema modification policies to be undertaken in EFG1914, while Section 5 will be an ongoing section where such changes will be recorded in the months to come.Due to the development of a virtual exhibition (WP 7) the re-usage requests of metadata may change in EFG1914. Section 5 will cover the new requirements that are currently in development.
