VECTOR Project has analysed the main climatic changes in the marine Mediterranean environment and the role of this basin in the planetary cycle of CO2,the main green-house gas responsible for climate change in progress.This project was divided into several lines and research activities.The area studied by the microbiologists in Taranto concerned trends in the development dynamics of Vibronaceae and fecal contamination indicators density in Mar Piccolo samples: water,sediment and mussels.
