It could access to a wide range of other data bases via ODBC and JDBC protocols, and it has the capability of share its interface over the WEB, with support of PHP engine embedded, thanls to its "Instant Web Publishing" technology.

Abstract
We needed to share expertise across the wide network, between scientific and health care organizations. The aim of work was to realoze a black box, a network radiological node able to join an imaging department with a remote workgroup using consumer technologies. The goal of the system is to enclose to encapsulate in a single black box, many consolidate network and security technologies, an easy to use open source pacs infrastructure and powerfu DB tools to share graphics interfaces, indormation and images across desktop and mobile technologies. The system, based on a silver box " Max OSX Mini Server" uses a core founded on "FreeBSD Operative System", solid rock drivers for many open technologies like "IPFW" the FreeBSD packet filter, "Racoon" an IPSec tools used to realize VPN across geographic networks and so on.Over OSX upper layers, we shared a full DICOM server infrastructure , to receive and send images between imaging workstation , based on Open Source engine "OsiriX 64bit" with the support of TLS, bonjour protocol, WADO sharing protocol , routing capability and http xml-RPC capability. It works as server having an easy to use interface, in a same way users use OsiriX over their workstations. Furthermore, still over OSX, we runnung a DB Server based on "FileMaker Server 11": It is able to share data and graphical interface, among window, OSX and Apple Mobile devices (IPad and IPhone), natively, with best effort in developing interfaces and applications, with a strong and consolidated technology, trough networks and with safety technology like SSL. It could access to a wide range of other data bases via ODBC and JDBC protocols, and it has the capability of share its interface over the WEB, with support of PHP engine embedded, thanls to its "Instant Web Publishing" technology.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
