In the present Report, the assessment of the blade equilibrium pitch angle of the selected propeller has been performed in the Towing Tank n. 1 located at CNR-INSEAN, whose characteristics are reported in Appendix 1. The study has been conducted by means of visualizations of the blade root by using a high spatial resolution camera; objectives of the campaign was to document the pitch angle of the propeller blades and characterize its dependence on the operating conditions, namely the propeller rotation speed and free stream velocity.

Abstract
In the present Report, the assessment of the blade equilibrium pitch angle of the selected propeller has been performed in the Towing Tank n. 1 located at CNR-INSEAN, whose characteristics are reported in Appendix 1. The study has been conducted by means of visualizations of the blade root by using a high spatial resolution camera; objectives of the campaign was to document the pitch angle of the propeller blades and characterize its dependence on the operating conditions, namely the propeller rotation speed and free stream velocity.File in questo prodotto:
