This technical report is focused on the chemical contamination problems of the Mediterranean Sea (including inventory of chemical products and their use by chemical function related to social and economic drivers at the regional scale) within the Task Team 4 of ELME. It contributes to Deliverable 4.1 (D4.1): Current chemical problems in key areas of the marine environment concentrating on the Mediterranean region, which aim was to 'Identify and prioritise regional pollution activities', generating a lists of substances that are different from the existing priority hazardous substances lists such WFD and OSPAR.
