The workshop was jointly organized by CNR-ISAFoM and the Department of Space Science and Engineeer “L.G. Napolitano”, in the context of the activities of the PhD school in Aerospace & Naval Engineering and total quality management. It was aimed at training young scientists to airborne measurements of fluxes of energy and scalars applied to environmental issues. The first 3 days module included an introduction to measurements in the atmospheric boundary layer as well as the planning of mission flights, which were carried out by the two Sky Arrow research aircrafts based at Pontecagnano airport. The second module was dedicated to the interactive analysis of data collected during the flights and reports preparation. The classes were held at CNR ISAFoM conference room in Ercolano and the flight preparation at the briefing room of the Aeroclub di Salerno in Pontecagnano.
