Abstract

This deliverable describes the computational analysis of the viscous flow around ship hulls using a RANS model. The theoretical and computational methodology is described and results of flow field predictions are presented and discussed. Numerical simulations address the representative tug-boat vessel and fishing vessel considered in the Project. Unpropelled ship flow simulations are performed for two different operating conditions at model scale and at full scale. The activity is performed in the framework of Work Package 2 of the SUPERPROP Project.
