The report is carried out in the frame of the HTA JRP7. A review of the most used Rapid Prototyping Technique at INSEAN will be explored. A very wide choices are possible nowadays and many combination of parts-materials-processes can be done. In the following some of those possibilities will be explained. This first part of the work will be followed by a real case history on the rapid prototyping of a model propeller with some selected techniques that are analyzed in the following.
