Process assessment guide

This document provides a Software Process Assessment framework which details how to conduct an assessment using an Assessment Instrument and the Baseline Practices Guide (BPG). The framework provides the flexibility by which organisations can perform Process Assessments in a manner that is appropriate to their particular circumstances, whilst remaining a Conformant Assessment. This document sets out the basis for rating, analysing and profiling an assessment, and also defines the circumstances under which assessment results are comparable.
