This was a key period with both the Integration of the Digital Library deliverable and the first BELIEF brainstorming event, both of which were seen through successfully. Communications were active, especially leveraging on the brainstorming event to reach out to different eInfrastructure communities, either as information of our activities or through invitations to the event. It revealed a strong correlation between registrations and tangibles such as events or publications. This reflects the strategy in the knowledge dissemination plan to communicate through different deliverables of the project. Communication with other projects was carried out however through promotional messaging but also through 'hands on' coordination in liasing with the EU flagship projects OMII Europe , EGEE-I, geant2 and DIESA to work towards common dissemination and common publication. BELIEF's first Brainstorming event taught us some lessons for improving the subsequent brainstorming, and also overall confirmed that the general structure adopted worked very well since it was a successful event as testified in the e evaluation report based on the evaluation forms. The technology report was merged with the brainstorming report and evaluation report, being all related to the same event. The technology report however will be postponed in delivery in order to give more time for analysis and render it an effective document. The Research industry handbook will be delivered at a later than planned date in order to better analyse and research the complex issues tat underlie the norms and dynamics of industry use of eInfrastructures, but in particular to give more time to creating the preface that will be common to each edition, and will be of value to readers in placing the document and eInfrastructures in general in context, especially for readers or 'uninitiated' in the topic, or new user communities.

Abstract
The Research industry handbook will be delivered at a later than planned date in order to better analyse and research the complex issues tat underlie the norms and dynamics of industry use of eInfrastructures, but in particular to give more time to creating the preface that will be common to each edition, and will be of value to readers in placing the document and eInfrastructures in general in context, especially for readers or 'uninitiated' in the topic, or new user communities.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
