Rilevazione Campionaria delle Statistiche della Pesca nelle Marinerie della Sicilia Meridionale (MINIPESTAT): Data Report

This work presents data collected during the MINIPESTAT project in Southern Sicily, whose reasons, objectives and methods have been described in the previous work (n°4, Vol. I°, 1995) of NTR-ITPP Special Publications. The work is divided into two sections: the first gives the data of the frame survey for 1985 to 1993 (not including 1988 and 1989) and concerns the fishing fleet. The relevant tables are on numbered pages with the initial "F" ( Frame ). The second concerns the weight and composition estimates of the catch landed in the ports of Southern Sicily by motor trawlers working trips of one or at most two days, from April 1985 to March 1987. The relevant tables are on numbered pages with the initial "C" ( Catch ). In view of further processing, this is a "data rich book" according to Pauly (1993), to offer to the scientific community and all possible users interested in the first fruits of our work.

In questo volume sono presentati i dati raccolti durante l'esperienza del MINIPESTAT nella Sicilia meridionale, le cui motivazioni, i cui obiettivi ed i cui metodi sono stati illustrati nel volume precedente (n°4, Vol. I°, 1995) delle NTR-ITPP Special Publications. Il volume è diviso in due sezioni: la prima riporta i dati dei Frame-survey per gli anni dal 1985 al 1993 (mancano gli anni 1988 e 1989) e riguarda quindi il naviglio da pesca. Le relative tabelle figurano in pagine numerate con la sigla "F" ( Frame ). La seconda riguarda le stime in peso e composizione del pescato sbarcato nei porti della Sicilia meridionale da parte dei motopesca a strascico operanti bordate di uno, massimo due giornate, nel periodo aprile 1985 - marzo 1987. Le relative tabelle figurano in pagine numerate con la sigla "C" ( Catch ). In vista di ulteriori elaborazioni, è questo un "data rich book" sensu Pauly (1993), per offrire alla comunità scientifica ed a tutti i possibili utenti interessati un primo frutto del nostro lavoro.
