The flux of CO2 is a direct measure of net ecosystem exchange and quantifies thet ransfer of carbon between atmospheric, terrestrial and oceanic storage. This is of particular interest given the current concern about rising CO2 concentration in theatmosphere and the uncertainties in the sequestration of carbon in the terrestrialbiosphere. This thesis is focused to the implementation of a mass balance methodology to estimate CO2 surface fluxes at territorial scale starting from aircraft measurements of wind and scalars in the lower layers of the atmosphere.

Abstract
The flux of CO2 is a direct measure of net ecosystem exchange and quantifies thet ransfer of carbon between atmospheric, terrestrial and oceanic storage. This thesis is focused to the implementation of a mass balance methodology to estimate CO2 surface fluxes at territorial scale starting from aircraft measurements of wind and scalars in the lower layers of the atmosphere.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
