Experiments on a rigid model to investigate slamming phenomena and water on deck. Part II

Aim of the present report is the description of the experimental set-up, preparation and execution of seakeeping experiments in a wave basin. This will be focused on the study of violent phenomena of water-entry and water-exit and water on deck of the 'Commandant Class' ship model. The main aim is to reproduce in the INSEAN wave basin the sea conditions measured during the full scale trials.

Scopo del presente rapporto e' la descrizione del set-up sperimentale, allestimento e realizzazione della campagna sperimentale su modello rigido della nave Classe Comandanti al fine di ripetere, ove possibile, le condizioni di mare misurate durante la campagna al vero.
