Computational Grid activities include in a "collaborative" interaction: research, development, deployment, dissemination and exploitation activities. A "grid approach" to the realization of such interaction is one of the necessary conditions for the future of international and multidisciplinary initiatives for the new computing infrastructure. The paper presents ongoing activities at CNR in the framework of the EU-project DataGRID coordinated by CERN.
