Complex Networks recently emerged has an important instrument in the description of physical systems. Through this theory we can describe in a natural way technological systems as the Internet the WWW and the social networks. Through the mathematic of Graph Theory we assess important questions as the stability of the systems considered and more generally the connectivity properties. Applications range from the study of contagion in real and financial epidemics to the study of systemic risk.
