Abstract

A practical successful example of technology transfer from laboratory to market has been reached with the integration of the peculiar features belonging to two devices: MultiLight and MultiAmps. The instrument is a modular transducer for biosensors, able to perform the simultaneous and autonomous amperometric and fluorescence measurement of two biomediators of different biological class. The instrument is characterized by an array of two modules, in which each module is composed of a miniaturized cell assembled in series for carrying out, simultaneously, tests of fluorescence on microorganisms, autoofluorescent proteins or DNA (with fluorescent probe).
