Design for manufacturing is the adaptation of a product idea to production conditions, and the implementation of the design for large-scale production while clearing out the problems the market possesses. These steps have to be complete in collaborative way, since the development department and the production department have to work together closely. Nowadays the product life cycle doesn't end with the production of the product but rather with its disposal and recycling. Many requirements and restrictions influencing the product development are coming from all of these product life phases. Therefore it is very significant to examine the feasibility and the optimal alignment of the performance goal time, cost and quality.

Abstract
Design for manufacturing is the adaptation of a product idea to production conditions, and the implementation of the design for large-scale production while clearing out the problems the market possesses. These steps have to be complete in collaborative way, since the development department and the production department have to work together closely. Nowadays the product life cycle doesn't end with the production of the product but rather with its disposal and recycling. Many requirements and restrictions influencing the product development are coming from all of these product life phases. Therefore it is very significant to examine the feasibility and the optimal alignment of the performance goal time, cost and quality.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
