The WATERBIOTECH exchange visit between ITM-CNR and the WSA partner took place between the 21th and 29th of August 2012. Elena Tocci, researcher at ITM, visited the African water and sanitation organization EAA/WSA (Eau et Assainisement pour Africa/Water and Sanitation for Africa), formerly known as CREPA, in Ouagadougou, in order to assess the existing biotechnologies used for safe water and wastewater treatment, and to promote the potentiality and feasibility of membranes as new biotechnologies.
