D6.3 Green Factory design guidelines and eco-design solution finding procedure for greenfield and brownfield contexts

Summary: Major content of the present Deliverable D6.3 is the final implementation of Lean and Green Factory Model allowing the evolution of lean optimized systems into green and resources-effective ones, through a detailed explanation of its main pillars: Design and Operation Guidelines for greener manufacturing systems, Energy KPIs for continuous factory sustainability control/assessment, Solution Finding Tool for guided implementation of energy saving actions at component, system and plant level. The Guidelines and the KPIs are presented and analysed at first theoretically, to show their relationship with the overall framework of the project, and afterwards are fully listed with all associated information in view of an immediate utilization by users.
