This report presents the results of Flow/Spray Visualization tests performed on the modified version of the CALZONI snorkel full scale model, named C2571 according to the CNR -INSEAN code. The tests are performed to verify if the modification has improved the pattern and extension of the spray around the deplumer. The modification was realized as a result of numerical simulations with a particle method SPH (Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics).
Sono presentati i risultati delle visualizzazioni del flusso intorno alla versione modificata di un modello di snorkel CALZONI in vera grandezza, con codifica CNR-INSEAN C2571. le prove vogliono verificare la versione modificata ha migliorato forma ed estensione degli spruzzi intorno al "deplumer". La modifica è stata realizzata a seguito di simulazioni con metodi a particelle SPH (Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics).
