The volume presents a rich and varied fresco of the company Sardinian Catalan-XVI-XIX centuries in its various manifestations institutional, social, cultural, religious. Some contributions are in continuity historiographical although now they are faced with a different scientific sensitivity. Others, however, give an account of new approaches and mark the vitality of Catalan Studies on Sardinia. All contributions also try to provide a picture as comprehensive as possible on the studies conducted so far.
Il volume presenta un affresco ricco e articolato della società sardo-catalana dei secoli XIX-XVI nelle sue diverse manifestazioni istituzionali, sociali, culturali, religiose. Alcuni contributi sono nel segno della continuità storiografica anche se ora vengono affrontati con una diversa sensibilità scientifica. Altri invece danno conto di nuovi approcci e segnano la vitalità degli studi sulla Sardegna catalana. Tutti i contributi, inoltre, cercano di fornire un quadro quanto più possibile esaustivo sugli studi sin qui condotti.
