This report includes the results obtained from a numerical simulation activity finalized at assessing the capability of the AML method (as implemented in LMS Virtual Lab 10) to well represent the exterior ATFs measured -in several different conditions- on an automotive engine bay mock-up. The activity was initiated by Autoneum AG and accomplished in collaboration with Imamoter and Tommaso Nizzoli, an Imamoter external consultant; it was actually a followup of a previous activity (that took place in 2010 / beginning of 2011) where the same type of assessment was carried out in relation to the BE simulation methodology. Apart from reporting the results, the present report describes also all the models used and it compares the AML results with the previous BE results, in terms of quality andcomputational efficiency.

Abstract
Apart from reporting the results, the present report describes also all the models used and it compares the AML results with the previous BE results, in terms of quality andcomputational efficiency.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
