This report intends to describe the experimental activity done and the results achieved at CNR, during the test for SOFC anode protection by means of ICCP method in a short stack. The work include stack commissioning (performance verification) and anode protection test (ICCP test). The activies were carried out in twice. In both iterations, the tests analysed 48 cm2 active area (single cell) planar stacks whose power was about 120 W. The two stacks differed from the number of cells. The former stacks consisted of 6 cells, the latter consisted of 7 cells.

Abstract

This report intends to describe the experimental activity done and the results achieved at CNR, during the test for SOFC anode protection by means of ICCP method in a short stack. The work include stack commissioning (performance verification) and anode protection test (ICCP test). The activies were carried out in twice. In both iterations, the tests analysed 48 cm2 active area (single cell) planar stacks whose power was about 120 W. The two stacks differed from the number of cells. The former stacks consisted of 6 cells, the latter consisted of 7 cells.
