This report relates to the CNR-INSEAN model tests in open-water and close-to-free surface conditions. All the experiments have been performed to measure global loads (forces and moments) acting on the model and local moments (torque) on the rudders. The same submarine model built by INSEAN within the previous project (see CNR-INSEAN TR: C2475-01PR04-RAP05) has been used. The submarine was tested fully appended, two different configuration for the aft rudders were tested, namely a cross configuration (the original one) and a X rudder configuration. Here, results for the cruciform configurations will be reported.
