D16.1 Final report on validated soil water balance model Deliverable 16.1 consists in the release of the Final Report that illustrates the soil water balance model developed under WP16, reporting calibration and validation results obtained using data from the climatic manipulation sites, and briefly describing the soil water model program developed for internal and external users. The Report contains the following main sections: (1) Introduction, which describes the main objectives of the soil water balance modeling (2) Material and Methods, where the soil water balance model is illustrated, with details about the simulations and the statistical analysis performed to evaluate model performances, (3) Results and Discussion, which discusses the results obtained during the calibration and validation of the soil water balance model, illustrates the simulated effects of climatic manipulation on soil water budget, and shows the main features of the Excel workbook developed for simulating the daily and seasonal water balance for shrubland ecosystems under climate manipulation experiments, (4) Conclusion, where conclusions are drawn, and (5) References.

Abstract
D16.1 Final report on validated soil water balance model Deliverable 16.1 consists in the release of the Final Report that illustrates the soil water balance model developed under WP16, reporting calibration and validation results obtained using data from the climatic manipulation sites, and briefly describing the soil water model program developed for internal and external users. The Report contains the following main sections: (1) Introduction, which describes the main objectives of the soil water balance modeling (2) Material and Methods, where the soil water balance model is illustrated, with details about the simulations and the statistical analysis performed to evaluate model performances, (3) Results and Discussion, which discusses the results obtained during the calibration and validation of the soil water balance model, illustrates the simulated effects of climatic manipulation on soil water budget, and shows the main features of the Excel workbook developed for simulating the daily and seasonal water balance for shrubland ecosystems under climate manipulation experiments, (4) Conclusion, where conclusions are drawn, and (5) References.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
