This report describes computer vision algorithms for the analysis of traffic related information to be extracted from images and video streams. In particular, algorithms both for i) conventional computing platforms and ii) wireless sensor networks equipped with cameras are addressed. Such approaches will be used to deal respectively with i) traffic flow in non-urban scenarios and ii) traffic flow in urban scenarios and parking lot monitoring.
