In this report, for the first time, we present the new software suite PRIAR( Pattern Recognition Image Augmented Resolution). PRIAR has been designed to analyze the object representation in a single low resolution frame image specializing Matlab functions. PRIAR combines super-resolution and pattern-recognition algorithms following some inferential methods when the prior function is assumed to be well-known. The combination of super-resolution and pattern-recognition methods improves the information recorded in the single frame image. PRIAR has been applied to biological systems (animal cells) recorded with Atomic Force Microcopy. It gives the possibility to reconstruct the morphology of identified volumes of cell organs and components and to insert meta-tags characterizing their functionality.
PRIAR è un pacchetto software che specializza le funzioni di Matlab per l'analisi delle immagini. PRIAR nasce dall'idea che in una immagine rappresentante un'oggetto nello spazio l'informazione può essere elaborata per identificare e modellare volumi specifici, migliorando al contempo la risoluzione dell'immagine. PRIAR traccia i volumi in modalità automatica sfruttando algoritmi di super-risoluzione e pattern-recognition. I risultati calcolati tramite la super-risoluzione e il pattern-recongition sono utilizzati per migliorare l'informazione dell'immagine andandone a ricostruire la morfologia e inserendo meta-tag che ne caratterizzano le funzionalità.
