The report constitutes of two Sections. The Section 1. is dedicated to the introduction of the current, most relevant techniques for limiting phase noise impact in standard receivers. These techniques are based on the introduction of periodic patterns of pilot symbols, which are able to track variations of phase noise during the signal evolution, and are usually associated and integrated with the use of standard systems for tracking phase variations, as PLL. Section 2. presents the numerical results obtained from the application of potential improvements of the reference scheme introduced and discussed in the previous Section.
Techniques for Enhancing the Phase Noise Tolerance of Single Carrier M-QAM Receivers - R.T. 1
2011
Abstract
The report constitutes of two Sections. The Section 1. is dedicated to the introduction of the current, most relevant techniques for limiting phase noise impact in standard receivers. These techniques are based on the introduction of periodic patterns of pilot symbols, which are able to track variations of phase noise during the signal evolution, and are usually associated and integrated with the use of standard systems for tracking phase variations, as PLL. Section 2. presents the numerical results obtained from the application of potential improvements of the reference scheme introduced and discussed in the previous Section.File in questo prodotto:
