Abstract

The original VVS acts as an e-science infrastructure for the storage, sharing and retrieval of shape data and related shape processing software. The VVS are provided by the Digital Shape Workbench (DSW), a platform for sharing knowledge about 3D digital shapes and their applications, originally developed within the AIM@SHAPE project. Within the VISIONAIR project the DSW has been deeply enhanced and the new version has been made public available at month 18. This Deliverable provides details on the extension of the Virtual Visualization Service (VVS) facility from month 18 to month 48 to meet the requirements within the VISIONAIR Consortium and to include the outcomes of the concerned joint research activities
