In this report the overall system description of the sensors embedded in MITICA in - vessel components is presented including the Beam Source and the Beam Line Components (BLCs) sensors; the scope of this document is to provide guidelines and technical solutions for sensor selection and procurement, cabling insulation and shielding , connectors and feedthrough development . The design and prototyping of BLC embedded sensors is progressed also through the CAD design of signal feedthroughs and connectors, R&D about MI thermocouples with UHV compatible termination, and design of sensor fixings.
