FOCUS K3D D4.2.2 6-month Report No. 3

This document contains the 6-month activity report no. 3 of the IST CA FOCUS K3D, covering the period March 2009 - August 2009. Partner IMATI is responsible for producing this document, and is supported by all other FOCUS K3D partners, reporting quarterly on their activities per Partner, per Task and per Work package. The material is then compiled by the Task Leaders T4.2 Management and T4.3 Project Assessment and Evaluation to produce this report. Section 1 provides a summary of the major achievements by the consortium in the six-month period concerned. The progress in the reporting period is addressed in more detail in Section 2, work package by work package, except the one dealing with the project management. The consortium management is addressed in Section 3. All partners reported separately on their efforts and achievements in the period in the various work packages, and their input is compiled in Section 4. Annex 1, the plan for using and disseminating the knowledge, deals with the dissemination of knowledge, listing project presentations, conferences and other events co-organized by the network, partner publications supported by the project, and participations at conferences.
