This web site hosts the source code and a few binary packages of waterDE, a command line application that calculates the characteristics parameters of water retention models using Differential Evolution (DE). The waterDE application currently implements the Brooks-Corey, van Genuchten and Rossi-Nimmo analytic models. In the next release, a plugin architecture will allow to easily add a wider range of analytic models to the package. The official reference for waterDE is: S.
