The main target of the project will be focused to develop a novel FRRPs (Fiber Reinforced from Recycled Plastics) composite material realized using, as much as possible, recycled material. In particular the project has the intention to explore the possibility to made novel composite materials using: oto carry out the matrix, recycled thermoplastics materials like PE (polyethylene) or PA (polyammide) either in blend each other, or with thermoset material; oto make reinforcement, recycled glass or ground thermoset materials; with the objective to match the specific demands (e.g. high pressure compliance with harsh environments, lightness, flexibility and recyclability) of mobile off-road machinery, especially earth moving, to ensure energy saving in fluid power applications.
