The main activities of these first 18 months are: in the first six months (from November 2012 to April 2013) we have focused our attention about history, the state of art and the structure of LCA; in the following months (from April to September 2013) we have studied many example of LCA; in the last period (from October 2013 to April 2014), using the acquired experience, we have developed some tables useful to acquire the needed data to perform a LCA and, as first application study, we have performed a LCA to the production process of Steel Paper Clip. In addition, in 2014, we had the possibility to analyse the cast iron pieces production phases used in Fundacion de Roda, taking the opportunity to find the more useful data to be collected to characterize the LCA of this cast iron foundry. These data will be collected, integrated with those provided by other partners and analysed in the following step.
