The main proposal of the ETLAT project is to improve the knowledge on state of the art of towed arrays performances and consequently to develop specific tools to estimate the hydrodynamic and acoustic performances. To meet this goal, theoretical and experimental approaches are previewed in order to have mathematical model to represent sensors' behaviours as numerical simulations and real world data to tune and validate the mathematical models. Several experimental activities have been performed at CNR-INSEAN towing tank facilities and the document describes all the preliminary studies performed in order to develop the final setup.

Abstract
The main proposal of the ETLAT project is to improve the knowledge on state of the art of towed arrays performances and consequently to develop specific tools to estimate the hydrodynamic and acoustic performances. To meet this goal, theoretical and experimental approaches are previewed in order to have mathematical model to represent sensors' behaviours as numerical simulations and real world data to tune and validate the mathematical models. Several experimental activities have been performed at CNR-INSEAN towing tank facilities and the document describes all the preliminary studies performed in order to develop the final setup.File in questo prodotto:
