The present document reports about the development of a new electronic front-end for acquisition and transmission of the thermal signals from the thermocouples mounted on the ion beam source, preserving signal integrity. It is the updated version of previous circuits developed initially for optical transmission of the thermal measurements from the grounded grid in SPIDER. In particular two of these circuits were installed in the NIFS-NBTS (NIFS Neutral Beam Test Stand in Japan) and in BATMAN at IPP (Garching, Germany) and they are briefly described in the paper. The system here presented is under test in NIO1 device to check its reliability in monitoring the temperature of some cooling circuits, like in SPIDER and MITICA.

Abstract
The present document reports about the development of a new electronic front-end for acquisition and transmission of the thermal signals from the thermocouples mounted on the ion beam source, preserving signal integrity. It is the updated version of previous circuits developed initially for optical transmission of the thermal measurements from the grounded grid in SPIDER. In particular two of these circuits were installed in the NIFS-NBTS (NIFS Neutral Beam Test Stand in Japan) and in BATMAN at IPP (Garching, Germany) and they are briefly described in the paper. The system here presented is under test in NIO1 device to check its reliability in monitoring the temperature of some cooling circuits, like in SPIDER and MITICA.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
