Task leader Teknologisk Institutt AS is certified according to ISO 9001: Qualty Management System and is accredited according to ISO 17025: "General requirements from the competence of testing and calibration laboratories". TI will plan and arrange for a benchmarking and validation of the new analytical methods, i.e. the TBP method developed by IBBA-CNR and AOX-based molecular probes developed by UEVORA. Recognized techniques for validation will be applied according to the provisions and requirements in ISO 17025, section 5.4: "Test and calibration methods and method validation" and especially section 5.4.5 "Validation of methods" including an inter-laboratory comparison. TI will engage an independent third party to administer the inter-laboratory comparison in order to ensure independency from the FEED-CODE consortium and third party verification of analytical results according to provisions in ISO 17025. Such interlaboratory comparison will include a comparison of results in the FEED-CODE project with results achieved by other analytical methods. In addition to IBBA-CNR and UEVORA, laboratories which provide analytical services (microscopy) of botanical ingredients in animal feeds will be identified and an inter-laboratory comparison will be arranged. The attached document reports the results of the Inter laboratory Comparison assessing the reliability and superiority of the FEEDCODE prototype for the qualitiative and quantitative analysis of animal feed samples the relaibility of teh FEEDCODE prototype for the qualitative and quantitative analyses

FEEDCODE rappresenta il prototipo per l'analisi della composizione qualitativa e quantitativa dei mangimi animali sviluppato nel progetto Europeo FEEDCODE a partire da brevetti e applicazioni PCT di proprietà del CNR ideate e sviluppate nel laboratorio IBBA-CNR. Nell'ambito di questo Interlaboratory Comparison , gestito e organizzato da EUROFINS come parte terza, Feedcode è risultato il metodo più accurato. Come tale è proposto da REA come metodo di riferimento ed è di fatto arrivato a TRL9, pronto per l'applicazione commerciale.
