This document reports activities performed in the task 5.1 of the SCYPRI project. Focus of the work has been the assessment of MAVICYS software: numerical predictions have been compared to experimental data in order to validate the design methodology implemented. A representative test case of the SCYPRI project have been defined and manufactured: the cure monitoring system developed in previous work packages have been integrated in manufacturing stages in order to acquire temperature and deformation during multi step fabrication procedure. The experimental study defined an experimental scenario for validating the numerical procedure developed in workpackage WP2. Numerical predictions proved the effectiveness of the proposed methodology, nevertheless the comparison with actual manufacturing procedure suggested the implementation of additional feature within MAVICYS software. A part of the document is devoted to description of upgrades made in the final release of the software.
