This document is the design report for the MITICA B eam Source, related to design activities up to the completion of the design, occurred within WP-20 15. The WP-2014 activity retrieved the design carried o ut under previous F4E Grants and WPs, and developed it in agreement with requirements agreed with F4E and IO. This report has the main aim to present the final d esign of the MITICA beam source, coherent with the finalization of the technical specifications, h ence it includes design solutions developed not onl y during 2015 but also during previous contracts and still valid, thus showing the complete state of art of the MITICA BS design, i.e. the updated list of r equirements and interfaces, the description of the whole design and all the subsystems.
