Creation of Standardized DBs ESPAD Europe 1995-1999-2013 with data collected by all Participating Countries

The aim of this report is to provide a description of the project 'Creation of Standardized DBs ESPAD Europe 1995-1999-2013' commissioned by the EMCDDA - European Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Drug Addiction in Lisbon - whose main objectives are the data standardization and the creation of new databases containing all information collected by countries that participated in the ESPAD study "The European School Survey Project on Alcohol and Other Drugs" for 1995-1999-2003 years, with the purpose of analysing time trends. The ESPAD Italian project (ESPAD®Italia) is a national study of reference on alcohol, tobacco and legal/illegal psychoactive substances consumption patterns among students attending secondary schools and it is part of the ESPAD project of the European Council, conducted every four years in many European countries and focused on 16 years old students, allowing to meet requirements and fulfill information debt with the EMCDDA through reports published since 1999 yearly.
