This report contains the summary of the first three months of research related to the project FIRB2012 - INCYPIT. In particular, it reports on La(OH)3, Nb2O5, V2O5, WO3 precursors characterisation by BET (where applicable) and SEM, and LaNbO4 powder synthesis by solid state reaction and characterisation by XRD, SEM, BET, dilatometry.
