This deliverable refers to WP5 of the Project: "Functional filtering media by controlled multi-jet electrospinning plant". In this WP, activity will be devoted to development of innovative optimal control strategies for the output-feedback control of composite nanofibre production process. In fact, while some variables are fixed and cannot change during the process, some others can be controlled during the process (e.g., applied voltage, solution flow-rate). Hence, a controller will be developed in order to manage process variables to regulate the deposition process in real time. The multi-jet electrospinning process will be up-graded with a process controller. Besides, production and characterisation of functional keratin-NPs composite nanofibre will be carried out by the controlled multi-jet electrospinning plant, collecting further information about the nano-processing of organicinorganic systems. New data will be used to complete models and process control. Finally, adsorption properties and photo-catalytic performances of the resulting filter media will be evaluated.
