An intensive one week laboratory and lecturer on application of cell model systems in medicine and basic science. In particular, vesicles as biomimetic systems, membrane reconstitution systems, model of tissues, nanocarriers, bioreactors and molecular dynamic simulation. To train young Ph.D. researchers in supporting early pharmaceutical research and promoting the development and implementation of new cell model systems to improve genomic research and bioinformatics that are starting points for instance of the systems biology and future research in these fields. The emphasis will be to facilitate an effective sharing and dissemination of new and innovative research ideas, strategies, focal points; to promote common learning experiences and discuss the latest breakthrough technologies and how to make use of them; to make top level equipment and instrumentation available to a wide interdisciplinary community at European and International level; to promote joined and integrated approaches from basic research and new product developments.
